1. I ordered the Delizioso Desserts a few weeks ago to serve this Easter. The estimated deliver date: April 17. Today, April 18, nothing arrived and when I called customer service I was told the vender has nothing available! I was not on waitlist before and now I may not get the order at all (let alone to serve for Easter).

2. Many times I'm placing an online order and get the "just missed this--sold out" message. I look at the item the next day and nothing indicates it's sold out; no updating to their computer.

3. I ordered the Total Gym in January when it was a "big deal" price. It arrived weeks later after having sat outside somewhere in snow and salt (the box was totally wet with the salt ring). I called QVC to get a replacement and was told they are out of stock, but I was offerred $25 for inconvenience. I told them Total Gym rusts when exposted to water and salt (was told by TG headquarters),  I would not be able to put this massive box in my little Prius, and the box was damaged from the wetness. I was asked to get another box; UPS said they would charge me $100 to rebox and QVC said they would not reimburse!

Has QVC expanded too fast or are cutting corners or what the heck? Am I missing something? For decades this was my go-to online shopping store but now, so many problems.

Re: QVC Getting Too Big?

[ Edited ]

  Thanks for sharing .

Hope  your credit card company assisted in the  problems with  the damaged  Total gym .

As far as special pricing , I suspect they  have a particular number of the items  that they are going to sell at that " special " price , so after the sales time is over there suddenly are  back in stock . I get it that some people impulse buy and cancel their orders , but that can't be to many times as the time peroid between ordering online and canceling is very very brief anymore .

Sorry you did not receive the desserts as I've bought their lemoncello  which was very good.

You are blaming QVC for a delivery issue, sorry deal with who delivered the object its not QVC's fault

@I am still oxoxI disagree, QVC can deal with who they paid to deliver it.  Its not the customers responsibility to deal with that.  OP I would email the social team about this if you havent disputed this on your credit card.

I think the vendors agree to provide a limited amount of product which may not really be enough if it's more popular than they signed on to sell to QVC.

but take a look at the exclusions on many sales outside of QVC.  The fine print with ads from many b&m stores can be the biggest part of some ads!  It means those companies aren't willing to sell at the lower price unless the retailer picks up the full cost of the sale.

@Makop  What Delizioso Desserts item did you purchase? I see plenty of items for sale which would seem to indicate they DO have available product.

QVC is getting smaller not bigger based on their reports.

They do seem to have an issue with their interface between orders and inventory.  Must be a very fluid set of data.

@spumoni99   Agree.

My take on the OP's problems--QVC has serious inventory control issues; and until the customer receives the product, it is the retailer's (QVC's) responsibility to get the item to the customer who paid for the product.  If there is a problem with UPS, Fedex, etc., it is up to the retailer, QVC, to resolve it.  JMHO!!!

To me it seems that they are passing the buck, a sure sign of $$ issues.  I used to order quite a bit of food products from them but no more. Nondelivery or over-selling AND then never notifying me that the product would not be coming left me high and dry too often. I sure hope this does not happen at HSN, I've no issues with their food deliveries, but the last beef delivery I received came from Rastellis so I cancelled the subsription.

@Makop   What you're describing is UNACCEPTABLE AND INEXCUSABLE ON THE PART OF QVC!

I'm curious about how you resolved this issue...I'm steaming just READING of your experience with this item.
