When I saw that the Barefoot Dreams throw cost $60 and the promo given during that presentation said if you sign up for a QCard you would get an "instant" code to use for the purchase, I thought that was really good. Basically the TSV would be free.
I called Customer Service to order the throw and sign up for the QCard, and when they took down my information to sign up for the Card, the message they got was that I would hear from the CC company 7-10 days from now.
I told her I wanted the TSV for today with the free shipping. How is that going to help me 7-10 days from now? She didn't know why they were not letting me get the card. My credit rating is 829, with the highest possible thru the credit companies of 840. So that is not the problem. My income is high enough to qualify for it. My purchases and payments have been excellent with QVC.
Anyone else try to get the "instant" code for a purchase by signing up for a QCard?
Will be interesting to hear from them 7-10 days from now and know why they didn't do the "instant" thing.
Hope everyone else who tried to do the same thing got better results than I did.

I'm sorry this happened to you!
If you can, take a screen shot so you will have proof. They might be willing to "fix" this issue for you on a "regular business day".
Don't ask me why in the world cyber Monday is now considered a "business holiday" but looking at my empty parking lot screams that nobody came home yet from Thanksgiving weekend!
I don't know if the social team can help you or not? At least, if you emailed them, you would have proof and then could get the deal in the matter of days?

I'm wondering if the delay is due to calling CS to apply for the card rather than just applying directly online.

Hi World Traveler...I had a lot of trouble signing up for a Q card 2 months ago when they were offering $60 credit. They first told me 7 - 10 days and when I checked on it they said they never received my request. It was re-isubmitted and I did receive it about 10 days later and they gave me a special code to use my 60.00 credit. Now my problem is putting in an order with a "live operator" to make sure I get my credit but I keep getting automated ordering. Can you tell me the number you called to talk to a "live" person?
