Promo codeLUCKDAY??? Bizarre policy

I have a huge banner at the top of my QVC page showing LUCKYDAY as a promo for $10 off. I tried to use it and it said "already used". So I decided to chat and was told that I used that promo code A YEAR AGO! Why offer the same phrase for a promo code? I guess when you don't really want people to save money. DISAPPOINTED!!!!!!!

Everytime I get a promo code from QVC I never have been able to get them to work. So I ve stopped trying.

But when I get one from HSN...they always work.

They have the same parent company...but they are sooo different. QVC really needs to take lessons.

HSN has faster shipping, returns, everything.

@macdougal28 - I believe that promo code is for new customers. Based on the fact that this is your first post in the forums, it seems possible you could have been a new customer last year and that's when you used the code. I've been a customer for decades, and on rare occasions, my ad blocker will still show banners or pop-ups with promo codes on the website if I haven't logged in yet on a particular day. Perhaps you could test this theory by logging out and closing your browser, relaunching the browser and visiting the homepage to see what is displayed, and then logging in to see if your view changes.

Overall, it is certainly disappointing that A) the QVC website is so full of glitches and oddities and B) we don't get more promo codes.

@ruthbe, but HSN has terrible customer service. See what happens when you don't get a package but USPS said they delivered it to you. They sent me a new package but then I got letters and emails accusing me, saying I received the first package and I needed to return one of them or pay for both! In the letter, they said UPS said they delivered it. UPS delivered it alright, to the post office! It was one of those sure post deals. But USPS didn't deliver it to me. It was the only time I ever had to tell HSN I didn't receive something and I have shopped there for years. Also, this was a $30 package. I've spent thousands at HSN over the many years of shopping there and they lost a customer over a $30 package.

By the way, my very first package in 1993 from QVC did not get delivered to me. It cost me around $100. They never once accused me of stealing it and they sent me another package immediately. They were wonderful! They might have slower shipping but I will take better customer service anyday. I don't shop a lot at QVC anymore either but I won't shop HSN at all now.

I am so sorry that LUCKYDAY was showing on your QVC.com Page as a promo when it was a code that was already used and can definitelty understand the disappointment in not being able to use it again. I guess I then have been lucky from HSN. I have always received my packages from HSN.

I will say the customer service (when I have had to deal with them) with QVC has been great. When the package has been lost and the item is still in stock...another one is shipped right away. And most of the time. expedited shipping at no additional cost.
