@Pecky that doesn't sound right. Never heard that before. I would try again. Why not send an email to the Social Team at QVCSocialTeam@QVC.com and see what happens. Let us know when you find out the answer. Send them all your info about the purchase.

@Pecky isn't that something? It may take a call or two or a chat but you would usually find someone who knows.

When it ships would seem irrelevant when it comes to a price guarantee. It's thirty days from the date your order was placed. That's what I've been told.
You don't say who it was that told you that, but I believe it to be incorrect. It's 30 days from the time the package arrives, and tracking shows when that was.
According to what you've been told, if the shipment is somehow delayed and takes two weeks to arrive, that would mean the customer only had two weeks, not 4 weeks. That's not QVC's policy.

@Tinkrbl44, I've been told this before from QVC Social Team members...the last time being Sept. 15th when I was inquiring about such. And so to get it again directly from the "Horse's Mouth", so to speak, I emailed them just now for clarification. And to be even more clear here so there's no confusion, I am talking about a price adjustment on an item previously bought at a higher price where now the price has gone down. The response from QVC Social Team is quoted here:
"You may issue a price difference reimbursement if an item is being offered at a lower price within 30 days of the date the customer purchased the exact same item."
That's what I was told today and what I've been told in the past. That's all I know. It does seem obvious from the update from the OP that the application, or lack thereof, of many of these QVC policies depends on the representative you speak with.

I don't think that policy is correct but, if it's new, it should be made clear to the customer.

@Lucylu-FL What? Never heard this one before. I know you have to wait until the item is shipped and also the adjustment is done on the price of the item within a 30 day period.
I could be wrong, but I don't think so !!

This has happened to me many times.
I will call for an adjustment and sometimes will get it,
but not all CS reps. are informed the same way.
Some are more knowledgable then others.
I have called about the same item adjustment on pricing on the same day and will get 2 different answers. All CS reps should be trained alike and be knowledgable on how to handle this matter put in place by QVC...
