Pending Holds Abuse

It it very frustrating that you choose to make a purchase late at night and cancel 15 mins later .HSN had the same exact product for 250 less but no price match...they still have not removed the pending hold..and no it's not my bank they are waiting for you to cancel the charges. Amazon all other platforms allow you to get your held funds returned immediately if you cancel the order. You all are batching your cancels pending holds way to far apart. It's a major inconvenience to have $600 held for 4 days now even though I canceled my order 30 mins after placing it. It's like being punished...ugh qvc

Sorry, this is happening. Always check HSN first before purchasing. If they both carry the same item I have found HSN to be cheaper and run better sales.

Call your credit card company and complain, if there are too many complaints against a company they could end up paying extra fees.

I have cancelled several items and never had that problem with my debit card. The charge has appeared as pending and then never posts as paid and I got an email that it was posted right after I placed the order.

If my dog doesn't like you, neither do I.

This subject has been posted numerous times.

QVC does not set the time frame for the pending charge to drop off.

Your Bank or Credit Card company does.

Complain to them.

Are you close to using the limit on the credit/debit card? If so, why not up the limit? Then, it shouldn't be a problem as long as you continue to pay off the balance each month.
