Anyone have a problem where the system is duplicating their orders? I’ve had some account issue where my online orders were duplicated the past 3 days (some orders were proc sealed 3x) and I was not even able to cancel the orders online or through an agent. I also have several QVC pending charges for amounts significantly in excess of what I ordered (over 1,000) worth of pending QVC charges when I ordered maybe $250 worth of stuff.

I called Customer Service. They don’t know why my orders are being sent through numerous times. They don’t know what all the pending charges are for either. I wonder if they are for my food auto-delivery items plus these random duplicate/ triplicate orders.

I have never seen “pre-authorization” charges from QVC. Maybe they do it for food items nowadays if it’s above a certain amount?

That's a huge difference $1000 as opposed to $250. Can't you go to your account order status and add up all of your orders and see what you have ordered and the total amount outstanding?  Also it should show when the douple and triple orders were placed. Some posters have complained about their orders not showing up in their order status within a few hours and then reordered only to find that they now have the  original order and the duplicate order. Not saying this is your case.  

 

If I had $1000, in QVC charges I would immediately cancel any advance orders and return what I could not cancel and get this paid off. And I would not purchase a single item until this was cleared up. Otherwise this will continue to snowball.  Good luck with getting this cleared up.

Yeah I spoke with QVC about the $1K in "pending charges" but no one (neither my credit card or QVC) can do anything until the charges hit my statement since they don't know what the amounts are for.  My recent total orders come nowhere near the pending charge amount. 

 

I assume the pending charges are "pre-authorizations" for my monthly auto deliveries plus my current orders (my actual orders plus the duplicate/triplicate glitch orders).  Some of the high "pending charges" are pending since March 29th.  

 

I went away for vacation recently and when I stayed at the hotel, they would pre-authorize my credit card nighty for the hotel fee.  They said they've had people skip out on paying their bill so they started a practice of "pre-authorizing" the nightly hotel rate. This is prob due to the economy.

 

The online orderng system seems fried at the moment.  I removed my credit card from my profile and am waiting for things to be resolved before resuming business with QVC. 

 

Anyway, letting people know this is happening in cse anyone else has this probelm and panicks their account has been hacked/credit card has been stolen.

I ordered a dress the other day but I didn't think it went through because it was not on order status and I got no email. I called customer service but of course they didn't see it either. Next day I get an email it is shipping!  So glad I didn't reorder and get two!

Yup- I am not even placing orders more than once and the system is processing the same order up to 3x. Luckily, the orders seem to stop at 3x.

QVC should be able to freeze an account. I can’t believe they can’t freeze an account. I don’t want any more orders being processed until this issue is fixed.

Yes that is just one of the many things that have been happening to me.  Orders duplicated, returns not processed for weeks, exchanges not made and on and on.  When my account is paid no more ordering from QVC

MOST merchants/vendors will preauthorize your account.  It is VERY common, even gas stations do it.

 

I order a lot and have Never had happen what you are describing.

 

I would suggest sending an email ASAP to the moderators, they are the BEST at figuring things out and correcting them.

You should be emailing EZ Returns for returns and exchanges.

 

They will respond in a couple days.  Credit in a couple days.....exchanges sent out in a couple days.

 

EZ returns has been in place for a very LONG time now!  If you have complaints on returns and exchanges...then you are not handling it correctly!!!!!
