Don't ask them to cancel it. Too late to cancel.
Ask them to give you the exact location of the package. When they can't, explain that it's lost and you're paying interest on that item's charge waiting for it.
I just had this happen with a pair of sneakers for my husband from Macys and they realized it was lost, next step refund.

If the package has moved beyond "In Process" but hasn't shipped yet, it is in a limbo that customer service can't resolve. There is nothing the system will allow them to do and there likely is no additional information they have access to. But charges are not applied until the item has been shipped, so even though it is frustrating to babysit an order (I'm in a similar situation), at least it's bank account neutral.

@brandy77 You are so right! I have had two stuck! Fraud when you get no product and no money back, no ability to cancel.
I don't know how long it has to go before you can do something legally about it, but I've started to wonder.
