Thanks for the instructions @loriqvc! I will play around with it and let you know how I make out and if I have any questions.

It may be a while. I found out this evening the next few days are going to be busy. But I will work on it when I can.

There are many times I want to remember something, like what company made something. If it's older I can't find any information. Sometimes I'll Google it and find a video, but sometimes not.

 I believe your system could be what I'm looking for!  Smiley Happy

@DottieBlue - The number of posters on these forums compared to the number of customers (and their orders over the years) is certainly a miniscule percentage.

And why give them any reason to do away with the forums?  Most of us on here are grateful that they're still around.  I agree that they should lock threads after a certain length of time, but I'd hate to see them shut down the forums.

@Venezia

I am not trying to get these forums shut down.  I enjoy them, also.  I was just saying that I don't think it's necessary to keep very, very old threads.  That's all I meant.

Sorry it was misconstrued.

I do a screen shot of all my jewelry purchases and print those out to keep in a folder so that I know when I bought a piece of jewelry and information about it.  I keep that info in a file cabinet.

If my dog doesn't like you, neither do I.
