Notifications Not Working Properly...

Perhaps in the effort to solve the log-in issue they got messed up too, who knows, but they aren't. I see the notifications crop up on screen, but the number in the upper right corner does not reflect them. Moreover, clicking on the notification link often nets one the 'no notifications' message, when you know there are new notifications that should be there...

I'm told I have a notification but when I click on it it says I have none. When I click on it again the notification appears.

yes, i have been having notification issues. i mentioned it on the other "problem" thread.
