Not Happy with QVC Packaging!

I ordered and received a Lug wallet. and it came in a crumpled plastic package that had been through the mill. What disappointed me the most was that the wallet was not in a little box. I would have liked a box so that I could wrap it for Christmas.

I am not a happy camper! We pay for shipping and yet we are not accorded the respect of giving us gift boxes!

Local shops in my area put the smallest items in gift boxes. I shall do more of my shopping locally!

I have ordered Lug a dozen times or more. All sizes. Never, ever did they come in a box. Always in a plastic bag. As a matter of fact, I don't ever remember receiving any purse or wallet in a box, D&B, Frye, Vince Camuto, A. Kestenburg, P. Nash just to name a few.

@stellabystarlight As @rms1954 mentioned, I also have ordered many Lug bags & wallets and they were always in a bag.

There are many retailers you can go to for packaged gift boxes in various sizes real cheap. Try the Dollar Stores, Walmart, etc.

Oh and BTW, Lug ships their own products out of Buffalo. QVC doesn't package Lug products for shipping. You need to complain to Lug if it bothers you that much...not QVC.

And personally, my thought is that if Lug sent every single wallet & handbag out with a gift box, most of them would be thrown away. For example, for all of my purchases of Lug products, I kept them all for myself & DH (some are travel pieces)...so about 15 boxes would have been wasted.

Thank you both, but I feel that QVC needs to package their items a little better! This is just my personal opinion and thank you about the tip regarding boxes. I appreciate it!

Too bad there isn't a "Gift" button that one could click on at checkout and an item would then come boxed for gifting/storage. That would at least give customers an option.
