I have a few pet peeves when it comes to shipping:

1. Why do they sometimes send 1 small item in a huge oversized box?

2. When you buy multiple items and they are shipped together, why don't they just charge you for that 1 box. I know that the items under each item number has and individual shipping charge. But say if I order 3 pairs of shoes with shipping charges of $5 each, it seems that with the weight, the items would come out to $10 total, instead of $15. I know they make more money that way, but considering how much money we spend here, I would think that they would care more about customer retention and cut us a break. I hope I explained it clearly.

Re: Multiple Shipping Charges

Why?  Because they want to.  I don't know how you can understand why a corporation does things the way they do.   Why do you continue to buy?  Probably because you want to.  I don't know there is logic to this.
