Moving Q2 to All Repeat Shows

Just want to voice my disappointment of Q2 moving to all repeat shows.

The main channel suffers an overkill of the same old same old (hosts, programs, TSV) and has become grating. Q2 had become my go channel (before Covid) as the items and the hosts were far more refreshing.

I really hope you are moving In the Kitchen with Mary to the main channel now and not canceling it.

Im also disusted by the announcement and will be penning a letter to Mr. Geore first thing in the morning.  This man is running QVC into the ground !

Re: Moving Q2 to All Repeat Shows

I'm also very disappointed.  Sometimes it's the only thing I can stand to watch.  Seems as though there are going to be a bunch of excess hosts.  QVC is one big letdown after another with nothing good coming out of it, everything from poor service to awful programming, terrible hosts, tiresome repeat merchandise, overly long and frequent presentations.  It has become unwatchable.

Why would we want to watch rebroadcasts of previous shows?   I tune into qvc to shop & would not be interested in watching something that does not have accurate inventory.

[ Edited ]

Hmmm. Last Friday Stacey filled in for Mary and said she would be filling in again this Friday for ITKWM since Mary is on vacation. Mary kept saying that soon they would be returning to Saturdays at noon on QVC2.

Guess this came as a surprise to some of the hosts.

I wonder what will happen to many of the older brands at QVC?  They seem to have pushed them all over to QVC2 and now won't have that venue to sell.

When did they make this announcement and when is it effective?   I guess this means the end of the QVC2 Big Deal.

Re: Moving Q2 to All Repeat Shows

I think that QVC will be revamped and only top selling items will be showcased.  Although that can get pretty boring after a while.  Maybe packages will be offered to some hosts, which may be enticing.  I am sure the top sellers like Rick Domeier, Shawn Killinger, Jane Treacy, Leah Williams, Mary Beth Roe, Alberti Popaj, and a few others will be OK.
