Mods Help! Backorder Issue

When I go to Item # 57456 it shows In Stock...My order shows Backorder..why ??

Hi @89135 I am so sorry that happened. You are correct, we have 6 in stock, however they may not be up to the standard QVC expects. A backorder letter was sent to you and when there is more stock available it will ship.

these are just snacks..what standard would they have to meet....and it shouldnt show InStock if they arent going to send out...it said InStock when I ordered on the 12th...and Backorder ever since...

I have had two items recently that initially were listed as "in stock". A couple of days later, the same items were listed as "back orders". Luckily, since they were listed as "back orders", I was still able to cancel them. That is exactly what I did. When a person places an order, and the item says "in stock", there is a reasonable expectation that the item will be currently available and shipped promptly. Those days seem to be gone.
