I could not agree more... this seems to be happening with more and more regularity... they say they care but apparently they don't or it wouldn't be such a common occurence ~ QVC may have over-extended itself and is unable to service this mega company they have become but the CSRs have gotten the 'apologize for any inconvenience' line down really well ~
Their lo$$, our gain ! ~

I was able to access my order status early this morning just fine, but can't now.
So it was working this morning.

Hi Everyone, I am sorry for the delay. QVC is experiencing technical issues and we were not able to post to you until now. Our IT department is working on it and we hope to be up and running soon. The phones have also been out, we are hoping to have them working soon. We appreciate your patience.

Look at it this way: how ticked off do you think the VENDORS are that no one can buy their products right now? I know it would be a HUGE issue for me if I was up there trying to sell my product.
How about the hosts? They have numbers they have to make. Can't do that if no one can buy. Of course, head BigWhigs will just blame everyone else. Bottom line, BigWhigs: HIRE MORE IT PEOPLE and UPGRADE YOUR SYSTEM TO HANDLE THE VOLUME.
But no, they just want to pocket profits and not spend it on the business.

Now t they are saying there is a power outage and can check on any order issues, yet they are still on the air broadcasting live, what gives with this place

The site still isn't working right, and it's been several hours. Is this what QVC calls customer service, and convenience? Really? May I suggest you get equipment able to handle the volume you have, a generator for your computer systems, and qualified IT staff? For a company of your size, there is no excuse for such a poor performing web site! The way QVC pads prices with excessive shipping charges, they should be able to better.
