QVC seems to be stuck in a rut to me lately. They show all the same brands over & over week after week. There's nothing new in the line up anymore--so predictable. And seeing Jane T. dominate the nightly shows is just beyond ridiculous. I think I'm done with this organization altogether. There are a lot better options for programming out there these days.

Last night it seemed that Jane must have had several cups of coffee. I tuned in occasionally and she never slowed down, took a breath or allowed her guest to speak. I appreciate her enthusiasum for her work, but she can be overbearing at times.
. ........ I think the repetition of products must have to do with time it takes to get large quantities of product to present on air. It seems to take months and months to get items in stock.

If you're not enjoying the live presentations, just opt for shopping the Q online. I'm always amazed at the large number of products and brands they have online that are never aired. Things I wouldn't think they even carried, If I hadn't searched.
I still enjoy some of the products and vendors, but I agree with you, that there is a bit of a rut. I'd love to see some new brands and items occasionally, too. It seems in years past, that they aired a lot more product and variety to capture our interest.

I am feeling the same way but I wonder if I have just been watching too long and the fact that I just don't need as much as I used to. I have all the holiday things I need and am starting to get rid of some! I Just diesn't interest me as much as it use to. The shipping fees to get and return make me think twice before ordering anything.

She has been over zealous for some time now with her hands going a mile a minute to go along with her mouth. She needs to take a breath and not act so exccited over everything she presents as it comes off very fake.

I tune in for a few minutes several times during the evening just to see whats on. I never watch full shows anymore. Too repetitive.
Even the Philosophy shows are showing the same few products over and over.
They have a huge inventory-why do this???
Maybe they are showing what are big sellers-who knows? But it is awfully boring to the buyer.

Sad but true, it's not the same Q! All the over 50 nonsense is just too much. Not every woman over 50 is fat and pee's in their pants. I've only bought backpacks and wallets lately and gave up on all the shapeless clothing with expensive price tags. Soon we'll be hearing over 80 and fablous.

I'm over 80.

I remember watching QVC for the first time about 30 years ago. At the time I only watched shophq ( valuevision). I was shocked at the repetition on QVC. I remember the special of the day was a robe, maybe Stan Herman. I think it was on once every half hour, or at least it felt that way. So nothing has changed through the years.

There are a lot of QVC owned or in a fiduciary relationship with company products like Corky's, Susan Graver, Denim & Co, Home Reflections, Cella, Northern Nights, Affinity, Diamonique etc.
Then other companies like Kim Gravel Belle, Studio Park, some of Rastelli's and Jrs Cheesecake make products specifically for QVC.
These must be their money makers, so they present them often. I understand that, you test your market and stay with products that sell well with higher profit margins.
I do the same with the jewelry I sell, follow the market and see what is in demand. However I mix it up to keep buyers interested and also bring in new customers.
Apples to oranges as my sole proprietor business pales in comparison to QVC however I believe a mix-up of products on QVC could increase more interest and widen their market.
And tell the hosts to quit screaming. ha.
