Learned something new today about returns.....

I had ordered a pair of medium black (petite) Anybody Cozy Knit Jogger Pants and I sent them back for the regular size.  Well they refunded my money.  I was told that the reason  was because the numbers were different for petite vs. regular therefore if I wanted them another order would have to be placed.  I wish they would say this in presentations.  I also inquired about a return I had made on D.B. printed tunic.  Crazy...the ship date was wrong (I received it long before the ship date) and it was never marked as being returned.  When I asked about that I was told that the refund was issued and she told me the amount.  I told her that it would have been nice if QVC had posted that information on my order.

This is not new.....it happened to me a few years ago with a pair of pants.  If the item numbers are different.....even if the product is the same it is not conidered the same item at QVC.

I agree.  This is one of the "fine print" things.

Happened to me long time ago - ordered D&C 'famous' jeans - what I got was for tall - I didn't open the pkg promptly so too late to return.  When ordering from Q - read - everything - anything - and proceed with caution.

(they stress the Q card but not the info we need)

Fortunately, there are very few items where the different lengths have different item numbers.  What there is seems to be older merchandise given numbers before the exchange policy went into effect.

Ladies this is sooo incorrect.  For example.... if you order a pair of pants in petite (s) and they don't fit, you can exchange, without any extra cost to you, a regular, size small. It happens to me all the time and I get an even exchange. Unfortunately CS support is horrible because you can call 10 different cs, and get 10 different answers. It is true, items have regular and petite sizes, but you are not penalized if you go from petite to regular, SAME ITEM, DIFFERENT SIZE, END OF STORY

Not if the item number is different.  Sometimes petites and regular of the same item have different item numbers.

I think if something comes in different lenghts that you should be able to exchange for a different size. Another good reason not to shop on QVC!

MONEY MONEY MONEY.

They could easily add another drop down to select length but they won't. QVC uses their shipping department as a way to stay in business and it will not change until customers start shoppin around.
