QVC's taking a long time getting packages through. Anyone having the same problem? According to email, package would arrive on the 8th, then another email stated the 9th, and when I didn't get anything, checked status, and now it's the 14th! How about a simple, "Sorry, but delivery is running late?" Frustrating!

Ha!

I ordered postage stamps from USPS dot com. They shipped from Kansas 11/4. They went to Tennessee and Friday they were in Indiana. On their way to Michigan.

I don't think it's The Q!

QVC doesn't deliver packages.  They turn them over to UPS or USPS.   Both are very busy and there has been heavy snow in the middle of the country.  It's that time of year when freight slows down.

Huh?  How is this QVC's problem?

You should check the TRACKING with the CARRIER that is handling delivery.

By carrier, I mean USPS, Fed-Ex, UPS etc.  If you're going to assign blame, at least get your facts right.

Once packages leave the Q, anything can happen to result in a delay. And, not just the Q.

I was waiting for a Q delivery recently (I knew had shipped) that was a few days past anticipated delivery. I did appreciate when I received a notice on  tracking that my delivery was delayed due to some type of mechanical breakdown, with updated delivery date.

I liked the update. Wish delivery services would do this more often on the tracking site so we don't begin wondering if our delivery has been lost.

I've been waiting over a week for jeans and Sketchers. It took QVC 4 days to process and ship the order. So I think the OP might be referring to processing time.....which has been long for me.

I ordered something on the 31st of October, with an estimated delivery date of Nov. 8th. It sat at "preparing your order" until yesterday, Nov. 10th, and finally shipped. What gets me is that if you don't cancel within an hour, you're SOL. 🙄

There's always a lot to be thankful for if you take time to look for it.
For example, I am sitting here thinking how nice it is that wrinkles don't hurt.

@spabar.  Orders  can and do through immediately! I had that happen and didn't believe it couldn't be canceled as I tried to cancel in minutes. I asked to speak to a Supervisor. Sometimes one has a cancel  window but sometimes not. Most on line order companies are upfront about canceling order time!

Thanks for replying. And you're correct about the carriers; however, there've been times recently when QVC hasn't shipped for over a week. Gets frustrating. And thanks to all others who took the time to say something. Much appreciated.Cat Happy

It's always best to NOT order something unless you're 100% sure you want it.

Wanting to cancel something right after ordering sounds like it was just an impulse purchase, not something you actually want or need.
