Trying to get clarification- have ordered pieces for Christmas gifts- WHERE ARE THE SIGNATURE ORANGE BOXES? Not even a care guide booklet- just thrown in a brown ugly shipping box - QVC passed me on to LE customer service, could care less PLEASE HELP. DAVID Venable talks endlessly about the joy he gets opening his orange box- I want that same joy as the customer . Thank you

Re: LE CREUSET ORANGE BOX

[ Edited ]

If it's the most recent TSV they were showing, the orange box is in the presentation.

Sounds like you got a return? Or perhaps you ordered "As Is" items? They are repackaged in brown boxes and come with bare minimum contents.

There was talk on Facebook of people saying their order that they did at midnight was now on backorder and would ship several weeks later.

Maybe they hurried through to catch up and just sent them in brown boxes?

I have also seen others saying only the "Made in France/cast iron" pieces come in the orange box, the "Made in China/stoneware pieces do not. Depends on what item you buy.

I don't own any so maybe someone else can pop in here and help clarify how it is supposed to ship.

Let us know what item you ordered.

Here's the TSV from a couple weeks ago showing the box on display:

I think you got a returned item. The le Creuset box is big part of this item, I would return it as 'defective' so that you are charged for the S/H and have it replaced so that the le Creuset gift experience is complete.

Thank you for your help, it is more than customer service has done.  I've been with QVC since "THE BEGINNING" , the customer care at times is questionable.   I ordered 2 of the sea salt fish bakers for Christmas presents - they are now sold out in that color.

i will keep them & just go to Home Goods and find boxes since QVC seems to be clueless on this -  last phone call they told me it would take 4 business days to find the answer.  What is the confusion ?  Orange box = LE CRUESET Blue box = TIFFANYS

i even tried to ask David during his coffee talk thinking it was worthy conversation , but that seems to be more of a weather channel 🥱

Anyway, I'll just be more careful with purchases, kind of getting tired of hearing I'm in the age of POSSIBILITY anyway -  HAPPY THANKSGIVING everyone 🦃

@IVYgirl I would be very angry.  And was when I bought one in a box, lid upside down and NOTHING between the lid and the pot.  Never again.

If you want a great deal, go to or CALL even some real LC outlets.  I have most often found super people working there, willing to help, and clue you in on deals.  I have never had a problem with this!  Just call not at noon or end of day or start of day and they usually have time to help you.

@IVYgirl This is exactly what I would do particulalry if it's going to be a gift.  You do have to call CS to tell them that you want a refund on the return shipping due to the fact that you didn't get what you told you were buying.

I have several LeCreuset items including  cast iron and a stoneware baker and have always gotten the orange box.

ETA:  I see that your color is out of stock now.  I hope you can get things to work out for you.

@IVYgirl - As another poster noted, I don't believe the Le Creuset stoneware pieces have the same packaging as the cast iron pieces. That could be the reason for the type of box you received. Hosts or vendors should probably be more specific about that when presenting the items, but it looks like the fish bakers you mentioned may not have ever been shown on air since there's no video on the item page. Hopefully, the baking dishes are in mint condition and you can wrap them in a way that highlights the special items they are for your gift recipients.
