I ordered J365598 Jai sterling & 14k button earrings with omega backs.  I received them today in a regular (not Jai) box where it appeared each earring was individually wrapped in a paper towel piece & placed in the plastic bag!  This is definitely not desirable to receive &  I guess the earrings were clearly someone else's return.  And one of the backings did not even work properly.   For over $200 the earrings are going right back.   I also ordered the big deal gemstone ring  (J369777) & it arrived in a diamonique box.  What if it was a gift?  I understand with the pandemic things are not like what they were but there should be some quality control of everything that goes out after the sale is made.

That is definately a return if it is not in a JAI box!  Yikes, I certainly wouldn't want to handle something that's a return right now.    Too much shoddy stuff going on, some sort of desparation to keep the network going.

@Kachina624 @Patti   @LindaSal I agree with you that the unsanitary factor is more unnerving now than ever.  Can you imagine ordering designer earrings over $200 and they arrive broken in paper towel pieces wrapped in plastic rather than brand new in the designer box (Jai)?

I too just received JAI'S Special Deal, the blue topaz ring and it was in a plain blue Q box in a plastic bag (J369662).  What's the issue here as if I was going to gift this I want it in a proper JAI box.  I DM Scott Grimes but I'm sure he won't respond. So if I went into  Tiffany's would they they put my ring in a Walmart box??   The Q is really going downhill fast. Maybe its time for me to smarten up and buy elsewhere
