And why shouldn't customers whine. If the object is to sell, then the site ought to be less glitchy. Here we have a retailer clearly needing to improve its share of the take, endlessly running on about their 'plan' and wanting to spread itself far and wide into multiple venues and platforms, yet for years, yes literally years, they and their customers have endured a series of inferior and often dysfunctional  websites. It really is time to step up and address first things first. Oh, and if the whining gets to be too much for some, well, as the old saying goes, walk on by...

Thanks @tried it all for posting about this.  I have seen this problem in the past, where orders don't go through even though one checks out.  Rare, but happens.

My complaint, and I think the op's, is items show up as available in the item page, but when one tries to buy it, it says just sold out.  I understand this when the item is on air, and the system is catching up.  This has happened always.  But now it is happening to me with items that were presented a while back, they look available on the website and are not.  So the order obviously didn't go though because the item never went in my cart.  I think this is what the op is describing.

I had the additional problem of things selling out from my cart, which was new to me with regards to qvc.

I totally agree with you...free shipping day and there are always glitches, yesterday was the worst!!!!! I've shopped QVC for a long time, sadly I'm on my last nerve with the company!

Yes, trying to put the TSV in my shopping cart.  It shows available.  When i click to add to shopping cart, it "just sold out."  So maybe they are missing on orders.  It shows like all sizes available.  I just can't buy it.
