Hi

my Shark never worked above the floor features.  I called Shark.  I was supposed to get a new part within a few days.  But no, the new part would be delivered in November.  December 5th still no part.  I can't use the hose to vacuum under anything or above the floor.

Today I ordered the Dyson on ITKWD.

Do I take my return up with QVC or Shark?

That is absolutely terrible.  If you bought at the Q, it goes back to QVC with a note about Shark and how you are unable to use above the floor.  I would be quite upset and I don't blame you for going with Dyson.  I own a Shark but have no problems at all.  Happy Holidays to you.

No, it wouldn't qualify for Christmas in July returns.  I would call Q c/s.

If you purchased it during a Christmas show during July or August that stated extended return OR purchased it on or after September 22 then it would qualify for extended (January 31, 2019) return.

If it was not purchased within the above time frames then Q's normal 30 days would apply.

@Mary Bailey   I am sorry to hear you never got the replacemnt parts you needed. I just checked and the Shark purchase is returnable.  Please let me know if you need a label.

yes I do need a label.  I'll have to buy a box.  I never dreamed I'd have to return it.

Do you know when the Dyson will ship?  I don't want to be without a vacuum.

@Mary Bailey  Hi Mary, 

The label is on the way.  You will not be charged the label fee, item is marked defective. 

I can't say for sure when exactly the Dyson will ship, you should be receiving in on or before 12/13.  If you wanted to wait and return the shark after the Dyson is received, that will be just fine if that helps Mary.

@Susan-QVC  the vacuum went back today. 

FYI  So did the "as-is" that didn't have micro-lights.  That's the second "as-is" that I ordered that came without the lights.
