I don't understand the problem...

...with getting stuff shipped out!

I placed an order for Lindt Holiday truffles back in July--it was supposed to SHIP 10/27. Label was created 10/24, and it has been "Waiting for Carrier Pickup" ever since.

I emailed the QVC Social team, and they told me my new estimated delivery date is November 7...more than a WEEK away, and ELEVEN DAYS after it was supposed to ship. If I hadn't emailed, I would never have known. Seems like customers should be notified when these things happen!

This is ridiculous!!!!!!! I only hope, since it's chocolates, that it's sitting somewhere that it won't melt. I live in SC, and the weather has been chilly..would've been perfect for delivering chocolate. We might have 85 degrees by Nov. 7!!!!

I have plans for these, or I would've tried to cancel.

Re: I don't understand the problem...

Last year I ordered OTO 40-pc Lindt truffles during CIJ and then got an email that they cancelled my order right as it was supposed to ship in November. I emailed Lindt's customer service from the Lindt website, and they were extremely nice and apologetic and fedexed me 75 free truffles!

Have you called QVC customer service? I had a problem this week with a beauty item which had the shipping label printed, but it never got shipped out 10 days later. CS reordered the item with expedited shipping and I should have it soon. Every now and then our orders go in a black hole, but CS can usually help. I hope you get your treats soon.

Re: I don't understand the problem...

@scrapperlisa I did contact the QVC Social Team (they're usually more helpful than Customer Service). And they did get right back to me with the delivery date of 11/7.

Lo & behold, though, the item is now on the move with a delivery date of 11/4! Did posting here give someone a nudge? I don't know, but it's funny how it happened so fast! Still took too long to actually get moving after the label was created, but at least it IS moving.

I have a couple more orderes of truffles spaced out over the next month...it'll be interesting to see how that goes.

I've had more shipping/delivery issues with QVC this year than ever before!

vermint - QVC's shipping is inexcusable. I'm in SC, too, and it takes weeks

to receive my purchase!
