'Heart' Feature Not Working In Mobile View/WEEK TWO

[ Edited ]

IT team:

All this week, while I'm viewing in 'mobile' view (Samsung Android smartphone ), if I 'heart' a post it won't register that I did so, no matter how often I tap or how patiently I wait.

If I then switch to 'full' view I see my heart did register and the count increased by one Heart

I have found that I need to click the "show all content" in order for me to click a ♥.     This is getting to be a "pain"...............................

I've had problems with the heart feature this past week as well.  I've been using my iPad and Safari browser.  It happened even though I cleaned all internet search history here in the browser and in settings.  I'd tap the ❤️ on various posts, but it acted like I didn't do anything.  It would work on a few posts--noticed it worked on posters that I had hearted in the recent past but not with posters that I've never hearted or haven't hearted them recently.

If I was persistent, I'd get sent to an error message screen then get logged out. At the time, my husband was on his iPad and my son was using his MacBook Pro without any WiFi interruptions, so I don't think it was a WiFi issue.  (My WiFi icon was displayed to show I was on WiFi.) Also, I was able to use my iPad to interact with other websites without any problems, so that made me think the issue was on QVC's end.

Here is what the error message looked like when I repeatedly tried to heart a post.  After seeing this message, the system would log me out.  Again, all I was trying to do was heart a post!

@wildcat fan, yes the issue is on QVCs end.
@Desertdi, I don't even know what that means. Where to you see a 'show all content'? I don't have that in either mobile or full.

@x Hedge     The "show all content" is a pop-up on the bottom of the page.   You also can't see anyone's pictures unless you click on that.    I have my security set on "moderate"...............so I don't think "it's me".....................

It took me awhile to know what you're referring to @Desertdi

The only "show all content" popup I know of is part of the security setting in the user's device, is only seen in full view, and functions independent of Q's website.

I'm reporting a failure that's developed in QVC's website when using the mobile view

. . .and would appreciate some acknowledgement from Q that another glitch was reported for their IT staff's attention.

I think it would be nice if someone from Q posted in your thread to acknowledge your concern @x Hedge.  As I posted previously, I've had issues with the heart feature too.

This glitch was first noticed on or around July 2nd, and reported July 8th.  Another week has passed and the glitch remains as stated on original post.

When giving a heart Heartin mobile view the count doesn't change no matter how long you wait or repeat tapping the heart.Heart

If you happen to switch over to 'full' view you'll see your tap did indeed register, and the heartHeartcount increased by one.

Unlike some, this glitch doesn’t effect actual use, so I  realize it may be given low priority. Basically its just teaching mobile view users not to bother trying to give anyone a heart.Heart
