By the way - no activation window on this phone from Southern channel - which means you don't have to activate it when you get it!   That's unheard of - usually  you have 30 days or so to activate.

I believe I heard them say you have 60 days in which to activate when listening at midnight...

Yes, they did.  I had recorded a couple of the presentations and just now watched them.

I can't imagine any cell phone that you didn't need to activate before use.

I heard 60 days too.

Just watched and recorded TSV TRACFONE presentation and there is no activation date restriction.   Only if ordered today as TSV.

I've watched each presentation since the first two I'd recorded and everyone since has stressed that there is no time limit on when you have to activate the phone so @hoosieroriginal was right.

I wonder if the first host (sorry, not that familiar with them by name) didn't realize and just said what it's been in the past?

They also said you can get this phone and use it (surf the Internet, send emails, etc.) without activating it, since it has Wi-Fi to see how you like it.  Then, "if you love it", you can activate the phone and transfer your number and everything from your current phone.  Not really sure how that will work.

I'm skeptical of the 4G claims; the phone may have it, but I'm wondering if where I live will actually receive it (even though it says it will).  I think I'm going to order them and find out for myself.  (DH wants one, too, only because I'm getting one!)  They keep showing the Tracfone CDMA map for coverage, but this phone is GSM (because of the 4G AT&T).

I'd rather wait for QVC to offer one as a TSV, but since they don't seem to be able to tell us what's really going on, I guess HSN gets my money.

Thank you Goody1219 and Venezia.....I just got off the phone with my sil...and she said the same thing about no time frame to activate the phone and that you can use it without activating it...

I am wondering if the midnight Host didn't have all the information...and that is why I was ill informed...

I am glad you both cleared this up for me....
