Re: Guaranteed Delivery

[ Edited ]

@Catch71 @I also ordered Jai earrings in Blue Topaz. Everything on the Jewelry Day was to arrive by the 25th according to their promotion. They were shipped on the 22nd. Two days  with USPS is a pinch.  Still waiting. Personally I dont care as my own gift to me  except for the fact jewelry on that day was to ARRIVE by Christmas and advertised as such and stated Guaranteed.

I would rather hear that it may arrive by Christmas and will do the best they can. Most things do o.k. and Q isn't the only one promising Christmas delivery. I am sorry for your disappointment and ruining your daughter's gift to you. Perhaps it is partly Jai's fault as  a vendor why it wasnt shipped?

Most posters have said  here for many  many years don't count on Q's  promises.

If you're buying gifts a week or so before Christmas, go to a local store. Would never count on postal/ups delivery. Anything can happen. Trucks break down, bad weather, employees off sick.

I get what you are saying but it was not the postal services fault; it was not even shipped!  Not the end of the world but they need to stop saying guaranteed just to get the sale.

My dughter ordered me Jai earrings that were guaranteed delivery by 12/22. As of 12/25 they weren't even shipped.   Rey disappointed in their promise when this was not the fault of usps, but they didn't even ship!

@Catch71 One saving grace here, it is a gift for an adult not a child, so in the scope of life isn't that big of a deal!  So that's one good thing!

I'm sorry this happened. It happens every year. Order early if you want to receive gifts on time.

@Catch71. I just checked again and my Jai earrings shipped in fact, December 26th the day after  the Christmas Guarantee. I am guessing Jai is the glitch? I hope yours come soon? Maybe make it within The Twelve days of Christmas!

@Gorgf If Jai is the glitch then once again the Q should NOT be making promises.

Guaranteed is a promise to accept responsibility. Call QVC as they should at least refund s/h. When they promote guaranteed, the next statement should be or what.

Anyone who waits that long to purchase a Christmas gift is taking a chance with any vendor.

I think the lesson learned is do NOT wait so long to try and order anything from anyone On line!!!!!

Not trying to be hard hearted, but come on!!!

Maybe HSN should compensate me for 'ruining' our Christmas....big gift was the TSV NFL T shirt and hoodie....oh they arrived on time....but when my guys opened the package.....and took out the Bills T shirt...behind it was a GIANTS hoodie!

That was their big gift.....OH WELL, stuff happens.

Maybe it's even on me.....I saw the Bills Tshirt on top and never opened the bag all the way to inspect the hoodie.....(Giants and Bills have same colors...so not obvious from the outside)

I do NOT expect ANY vendor to cough up compensation for errors during the biggest shopping time of the year.  Ridiculous idea!
