Exchange Process does not work

I returned an item for a size exchange several weeks ago.  The return has been received by QVC and I have received the credit and although I noted that I wanted an exchange (item was and still is available) on both the QVC return slip as well as the one I printed when I printed my return label, nothing.  Now I am constantly watching my account to make sure they don't charge me for something I didn't get.  At this point, I don't even care if I get it or not.  They've lost a sale because their exchange process does not work.

I totally agree with this as it has happened to me.  I now call if I want an exchange but rarely does it process without an issued to be resolved.

HSN does it right. The Q should study and institute their procedures. I call CS. Tell them what I want to exchange. They send it out.

I return what I don’t want in the package my exchanged item arrived in, use the original plastic item package with the original item return receipt and off it goes.

Back to HSN and I am not charged for shipping it back nor the shipping of the preferred item I exchanged it for. I find calling CS and getting the ball rolling with their help is key to avoiding mishaps or disappointment.

I have gone thru this as well, what a pain, so now I just return the item. Exchanges just don't seem to work for me

I have never received an exchange that I requested and I have requested this many times....it does not work.

It worked for me once but took 6 weeks to receive the new item.

Same thing here.  A while back requested a return and instead got a credit.  This time I got the exchange but then a few weeks later received the same item again!!  So I had to go to the trouble to send that one back and now have to watch my bank account to be sure I'm not charged shipping! 

 

They need to fix this.

@MoonieBaby --totally agree with this post!! Have exchanged just a couple times at HSN and got the new item in a week and sent the old one back and my account was all taken care of. No hassels at all. Never did that with QVC--they don't have a clue how to exchange like HSN does!!!

The only way I've gotten an exchange to work is to write a big note in black marker & tape it to the item with instructions. They don't read the little tiny print on the return sheet.

Very rarely does QVC actually exchange items requested to be exchanged.   It seems like this would benefit their bottom line.  Doesn't make sense.
