Every now and then there are posts like this on items ordered that are ordered to be assumed new or not used. It seems QControl is breaking down. I recall years ago when on a returned item one circled the defect on a chart to indicate a frayed seam etc. I also recalled receiving a sticker displayed that the item was inspected and opened. I no longer see that.

 

I have ordered some" as is " VPH items and Ryka sandals with no problem.  I think they were overstock.  That is different. 

 

Wow, it is so obvious those slippers had pet hair all over them. It is too bad the customer has in inconvenience of it all. I was curious as to the Haflinger line as never heard of it. I love Birkies so will have to check it out. Thank you for posting Patti and welcome. I  hope all is worked out soon.

In my experience, there have been 3 "groups" that I often received "used" when ordered new. They are:

 

*shoes

 

*sweaters/cardigans

 

*cosmetics

 

 

Since QVC allows you to use something and then return within 30 days, I do believe that people were the shoes and/or cardigan for a month and then return. Maybe it was for a special, one time outfit. Perhaps by wearing it they found it uncomfortable in some way or maybe they just like to use and abuse the return system.  With makeup, it's usually lipsticks that have been worn or foundations/skincare with pumps. 

 

In any event, the issue belongs to QVC and NO ONE else. Why? Because they offer that type of return policy AND lack of quality control with RETURNS. Someone isn't doing their job or they simply don't care.

 

The most outrageous experience I had involved an expensive ring. The stone was chipped. I contacted CS, told them exactly the issue and where the chip was. I had to mail it back before they would send me a replacement. 1 month later the new ring arrived: it was the SAME RING I HAD RETURNED. The chip was the dead give away. New box, new paperwork, same ring.

 

Pathetic.

I am done shopping here. The hosts lie, and I know it's there job, but I am done! Even when I order an item I already own it is maybe a new order & not the same at all. Just waiting on returns. That may take 4 to 6 weeks! I sent them my way & paid upfront. Good luck to anyone still shopping here. The prices are crazy too! I have had a chance to shop in stores & have been amazed at what I have found!

Ewww........gross and disgusting!!  I hate it when I come home from someone's place that I know with dog/cat hairs on my clothes........and I know them!!
