What is going on with QVC and all the delays on my orders up to 5 different delays on just one order, never less then 4 on the others.   It always gets hung up in Kansas City MO and thats onlly 150 miles from me, I can see a day or two, but it has been up to almost two weeks on some,

@runtstuff. What happens after merchandise leaves QVC'S premises has nothing to do with their actions but is on the transport companies.  It seems they're still backed up after the holidays and have probably laid off temporary workers plus there is inclement weather in the Midwest which affects all interstate commerce.

We just have to grin and bear it.

Kansas City along with most of Missouri is completely closed down because of the storm raging through.  Interstates are closed...ice and then 4-6in snow on top.  No one is to blame here... Were you unaware of this storm?  Also a repeat this weekend.

And no one - certainly not carriers delivering non-medically-urgent items - should risk his or her life just to deliver packages under extreme weather conditions.

For the most part, it's just stuff.  I did have one package well before Christmas that seemed to have just gotten lost and I was given a refund.  Three weeks later it suddenly appeared on my doorstep!  (And, yes, I did notify QVC to reprocess the charge, as it was in perfect condition.)

@runtstuff Sounds like you answered your own question! KC is the issue, not QVC. Once it leaves their warehouse, its at the mercy of the shipping service

Many times I feel these delayed messages are sent automatic, then the next day the package generally arrives.......but as others stated winter weather tends to disrupt the mail in general.  Pack your patience please.

How were they shipped? If it was the usual Q lowest cost or free shipping, it goes by parcel post (lowest priority mail). Third party truckers usually haul parcel post and they aren't going to make a trip if it isn't profitable. Thus, sometimes packages go several places before heading in the right direction.

Weather and holidays can cause problems.

But there are also differing levels of shipping, within each delivery service.  Can depend on the company's contract.

I don't know what you hear this was posted but I've ordered Clinique which ships out of the Sparks Nevada distribution.
I'm told it's a vendor product but I shipped it two-day priority. A label was created but it hasn't shipped in 9 days.

They issued me a replacement and overnighted it a label was created and that one hasn't shipped in 5 days?

I ordered something from a store in Ohio several weeks ago.  It was mailed Priority USPS and I paid $10.95 shipping.  I followed tracking and it went from its original city in Ohio to Cleveland Ohio in a day.  Then tracking said Alert, delayed because of weather. Well, it then sat in Cleveland (according to tracking) for a week!  I went to my local post office, they said they would look into it via email and the next day it moved to NJ. A day later it was delivered.  Not sure if my post office's inquiry had anything to do with the change.  I thought it was lost for good.
