I was expecting a delivery from UPS for the Lindt Chocolate. It was noted on UPS site delivery would be 3/27. Today, I get a text notification that it was delivered today to a person I didn't know. I called UPS and they told me they delivered the package to USPS and they will deliver in the next couple of days.  QVC noted on my account it was delivered today. I called CS and explained the error and she said she will note on my order. This is a very strange way to do things.

Hopefully, the chocolate won't be melted. Just a real head scratcher.

I have noticed lately that a lot of my UPS deliveries are being transferred to our local post office as well.   Thinking about contacting UPS as to why......

@Texas Gray Wolf

Because it is cheaper.  Don't waste your time calling, IF you could ever make your way to a live person!

If there are few deliveries in your area, they hand it off to USPS.  Not sending a truck for one item unless they have a full truck in your direct area.

Logistics.

A ton of my deliveries go that route and yes, it adds 1-2 days.

There isn't anything you can do about it.

@RespectLife  My problem with the hand off, it shows delivered to you on that date. If there is a 30 day return policy, that could be a problem. Also, they can't change the date to the actual delivery date. I never encountered this before on my orders.

Sometimes my order is delivered through ups, or transferred to usps from ups. I'm sure everyone here experiences that. I had three items to be delivered on the 21st, but I received an email from QVC that one of the items were delivered on the 20th. Went looking for it and couldn't find it. On further investigation through ups and calling them, I found out it was dropped off at the "mailroom", or usps. Normally it would say the package was dropped off at the post office and would be delivered the next day, like the other packages, but this one said delivered. First time that happened to me. I did get everything on the 21st through usps.

I think there are some processing issues going on at UPS, possibly linked to the completion of the conversion/reconfiguring of UPS SurePost as UPS Ground Saver.

After a few of my deliveries were not only not upgraded to UPS Ground through my UPS MyChoice Premium account but were also incorrectly relabeled with a different city by UPS, I reached out to them and to QVC to try to figure out what was going on. The UPS rep I spoke with confirmed that the correct city was on file for my account and should have been used, and also confirmed that the packages should have been upgraded. So then I reached out to the Social Team and got some very thoughtful and helpful responses in trying to check out the intake/handoff process and labeling.

Anyway, long story short, the problem is definitely with UPS, despite what the rep told me. And today, I noticed that UPS has a whole new tracking page setup that no longer includes some of the key features it used to. So with my package issues and my desire to provide feedback about the new site, I'll be contacting UPS technical support (rather than just customer service) in the next day or so. I'll post here if I learn anything useful.

I found my Lindt chocolares the other day in a drenched, rain/snow soaked box.  It was a gross mess.  Got a refund, but really wanted those chocolates.

Today it read the cookies  ordered were delivered today - where I have no idea.  I hope it was just a miscommunication and the cookies will be delivered to me tomorrow.  I cancelled my 4/20 order of cookies 'cause I don't want to go thru this problem receiving food orders.

I really hope I don't have to cancel my A/D chicken fried chicken order:  I'm fed up with the delivery lately and if the Q doesn't rectify their "delivery" service, I'm just not gonna bother ordering anymore.

Imho the problems occur whenever ordrers are delivered by USPS from UPS.Woman Frustrated

@eddyandme - For what it's worth, you shouldn't have problems with the chicken; it is shipped via UPS 2-Day Air with no handoffs. I have a shipment coming tomorrow.  Smiley Happy

@loriqvc

Mine is NOT UPS 2day ever, and I am on AD for the chicken.

Ground UPS only, but always arrives still frozen.

Must depend on where you live.
