Customer Service is Slipping... Big Time

I ordered a piece of work-out equipment (the Body Blade) two weeks ago: QVC sent TEN of them. I sent back a pair of Skechers shoes to be exchanged for a different size, and customer service said my new shoes would be here by June 29th: there's now no record of the exchange order being placed. I likewise tried to exchange a Belle ruana for a different color, but customer service said today that their "system is currently a total mess" and that all refunds and exchanges "disappear" from the system. This has all happened within the last 3 weeks. Anybody else having these issues? Because I can't order anything else from QVC like this.

@klb2    Does your order show you ordered 10 Body Blades?

YES! I'm having issues with an order I placed in April. QVC cancelled it and then reinstated it in May. I have contacted cs MANY times. My order says backorder-preparing-backorder-preparing. QVC sent me an email that I will receive my order July 6. But the status still says BACKORDER! The item is on the web site. I think they are waiting for 45 days to pass so they can say> SORRY-- order has been cancelled!!

@bronxgal1   Are you somehow under the impression that QVC DOES NOT want to sell merchandise?  They would love to ship everything within days after you placing the order.  Unfortunately, due to conditions overseas, there are many unforeseen delays in manufacturing and shipping.  That's just the way things are for all retailers and probably will be in the foreseeable future.

Just to clarify.... there were TEN pieces of fitness equipment delivered to my house when I only ordered ONE. I'm not talking about supply shortages or shipping delays.

My order only shows one piece of equipment. And although I'm thankful I wasn't charged for the others, it took the UPS guy a dolly and a delivery truck to get them all to my door. I have neither of those to get them returned.

Spoiler

Tell CS at QVC to make arrangement, probably through ups, to have them picked up at your house.  You don't have to take them anywhere.

@klb2  Your experience takes the prize. Bizarre. So sorry , what a mess. I was thinking since you were home saw it being delivered I would have told the UPS person to take the nine back right away then and there knowing I ordered one item. I then would have called CS to document the return. I imagine you were shocked at the time to see 10 boxes coming.

I would certainly have a pick up arranged at my residence. One time Amazon sent an incorrect phone case than what I ordered and  even though a small bag, UPS picked it up. I have to drive half an hour to a UPS shipping site so don't have a local service.

I certainly wouldn't want to be a CS representative having to tell people system is down for weeks over and over or sorry  you can't print a return label. I would quit and work elsewhere.

People are too busy to put up with this hassle especially people working and will shop elsewhere. I thought Q wanted young customers?

Re: Customer Service is Slipping... Big Time

Yes, Gorgf, it was kind of funny watching the UPS guy unload them. I was assuming my husband had ordered something big for work: he assumed I'd gone crazy on QVC! Neither of us wanted to question the other's purchases, so we just watched the UPS guy unload them and didn't catch what was being delivered until the delivery truck was long gone.... ha!

And QVC customer service said they' would order a UPS pick-up for the superfluous exercise equipment this past week. None ever came.
