The return  label QVC includes with order has USPS RTN SVC with USPS tracking number and then below that has PARCEL SELECT RTN SVC UPS Returns.

Do I take package to US post office or UPS drop off?

That was not my question. I do know that USPS is the post office.

@Sapphiregal.  It can be used at either the usps or ups, your choice.

I agree it is confusing.  I have returned 99% of items from QVC via the USPS, but had a return with that label recently.  I had a Zappos package to return via UPS, so decided to try the Q package at UPS.  I have a UPS Store near me and when I went, the counter person said they could take the Q package, but could not give a receipt.  I chose not to leave it because I need receipts for everything.  I did a pickup at USPS with my regular mail delivery and sent the Q package that way.

@sunsetbeach

My UPS store said the same thing when I returned with them.

And wouldn't you know that was the one Q return I've ever had that got lost in the mail.  I didn't have a tracking number, so I had no recourse.

I get tracking on all returns since then.

@Sapphiregal - This can be confusing. UPS is able to accept USPS return packages but cannot provide a dropoff confirmation label for you if they do, and the USPS does not accept packages with UPS labels.

There are two options that simplify the return label process:

• Check the tracking number. If it starts with numbers (e.g., 9202), the label
is for a USPS return. If it starts with a number and letter (e.g., 1Z), it is for
a UPS return. You may also see references to both USPS and UPS Mail
Innovations, but you can ignore that; UPS has a contract to pick up USPS
returns in some areas, so both entities may interact with your package.

• Initiate your return online instead of using the provided label. QVC has
noted that it is going to stop sending return labels in packages, so this
will help you be prepared when that happens, and it also makes it very
clear where you need to take your return package—in most cases, you
can choose to get a USPS or UPS label, or you may only have the option
of one or the other based on your item's size or packaging requirements.

Hope this helps! Let us know if you have more questions...

Re: Confusing Return Label

[ Edited ]

I agree, I have found that confusing too, I understand what you're saying, that they are conflicting information one is USPS and the other one is UPS.  The one that has USPS at the top actually goes to the post office,  I found that out when I took it to UPS, and they refused it. So no it's not an either/or.

I made a return to UPS last week. Chose that over USPS because it's an easier facility for me to both park at and walk into.

UPS accepted my package with the dual option label but explained it would go into the bin waiting for the post office pickup. I know my local post office, across the street from them. It's a waiting game.
