Maybe they only want to ship so-many products free and limit the numbers on the big hours.

Or maybe they contracted for the worst IT service on planet Earth.

It is almost as if they don't people to use the cash back sites.  If you go through CS you won't get the cashback.

My WISHLIST was closed to viewing for awhile today.

This always happens on free shipping days.  If they did it all the time (like most other sites) it wouldn't be such a cluster.

That happened to me one day. I was so irritated.

@Sooner   My guess is the latter--worst Information Technology on the planet.

I THINK I purchased--that is, activated Rakuten this morning around 10:48 and hit the check out for 2 items in my cart--BUT it did not seem to register and I didn't want to risk duplicating so did not retry.  These were two items I wanted but I am not desperate for them.

I will simply order at a competitor's website that has the more expensive item at a comparable price if my "order" doesn't show up here by around 11 p.m. Eastern Daylight Saving Time via e-mail confirmation and/or order status.

I always use my laptop to order online since I wish to take advantage of the rebate/cash back feature.  Can't do that when ordering by phone.  So, QVC loses out on a purchase.

If they don't address these tech problems in a substantial way soon my guess is they will lose more and more ground in an increasingly competetive marketplace and be gone altogether in 3 to 5 years at the outside . . . hope I am wrong.

Cheers!

@aroc3435   I agree.  The only complaint I ever make about QVC is about their IT company and although I am not a complainer usually, the lack of apparent interest on the part of QVC  in addressing the IT problem sure makes a complainer out of me in that instance.   There are so many glitches it makes one wonder about the compency of the QVC decision makers  Seems like they went with the least expensive company and got what they paid for; that is, poor quality.  It is time to make a change and fix it.

I had that issue a few days ago.  I did a chat with cs, I was told they were having issues and IT was notified and didn't know when it would be fixed.  I am on Edge I cleared my cookies & cache and it worked.
