Do you "shop out of the box"? For me I am not of fan of brown and would not purchase anything in brown.

I have a few brown items. I think people with blonde hair (among others) look great in the color brown.

I have no idea what shop out of the box means.

We all have colors we love and those we do not.  I never purchase anything in olive green....because I don't like the color...in or out of a box.

I think this is normal and we all have favorites and things that we don't like at all.

I buy what I like. I never buy anything yellow, white (not even underwear) or pastel colors. Fortunately most items come in a variety of colors.

@Carmie.  Totally agree.  The only thing olive that passes through the portals of my house are olives themselves.  Other olive objects are banned.

I don't look good in brown so I don't wear it. This weeks "First For Women" volume 37, issue 8 magazine has four women on page 18. "Marvelous in Mocha Mousse." Is that a new trending color?  Allison Williams looks beautiful in her tailored outfit. The rest of them look so sloppy. Kerry Washington looks like she's wearing a brown grocery bag. Jessica Chastain looks like she's wearing a monks robe that's falling off. And the brown makes her skin look sallow. The color looks good on Jennifer Lopez. I don't care for the huge jacket over her dress though.

@Sweet Kitties - Mocha Mousse is the Pantone color of the year, so we will be seeing a lot of it in fashion this year.

I never heard of the term "shop out of the box" either.  Maybe the OP means shop out of our comfort zone and try colors we usually don't wear.  I don't wear brown, olive or pink.

@Bonkers1  Sometimes I will shop for something different and unique in style....not so much in color. I don't purchase orange or yellow.....it doesn't look good on me. I do like to keep an open mind.
