If you think the s/h charges are too high, don't order.  Just about anything QVC sells can be purchased elsewhere.  Sometimes it's cheaper, sometimes it's not.  I always look around to check other prices of what I'm ordering.

There have been times with QVC, HSN, Evine and various .com sites that I have passed on placing an order because the s/h was just too high and I wouldn't pay it.  If you order anyhow, that's on you.  You can't really complain.

Yes, she has every right to complain if she wants to.  That would be the same as me saying that you have no right to post your comment.   I do not get that statement...

That's not what I meant.  I have complained about the high shipping on several occasions.  The difference is, I refuse to pay it and I don't order.  IMO you really can't complain if you order anyhow.  Seems kind of silly.

A person can complain if they want to, sure, its their right. But the point is, one should know what they are getting into, what the total cost is going to be, before purchasing something from QVC or anywhere else, for that matter. Its no-one's fault but oneself's. No one is forcing you to make a purchase.

Vote with your dollars.  Nothing wrong with taking your business elsewhere.   I buy very little from QVC for that same reason.   So many other online retailers have much better S&H policies & competitive prices.

I am so disappointed with QVC over charging on shipping rates and when i have spoke to customer service they say it is their policy.  Time to take myself out to the mall and small business astablishments with coupons in hand!  Good Exercise is always a PLUS!

I recently ordered a pair of Clark's from QVC.  I have other Clark shoes.  ordered my regular size.  THey do not fit.  I paid $10.97 to get them and now I will pay $6.95 to return them.

Went to the Clark's web site.  FREE SHIPPING AND FREE RETURN SHIPPING!  THe shoe is the same price on their web site as QVC's price.  Remind me again why I shop with QVC?  When will I learn?

@KathyPet The last pair of Clarks I ordered from QVC, were my normal size and they were too big.  I had ordered 2 pair, different colors; never had a problem with size before.  I've ordered many Clarks over the years, so didn't think twice about ordering more.  I kept both pair, wear thick socks, and can get by.  But I will not order Clark shoes again, because I like to wear the shoes with/without socks and can't do that with these.  So it limits my wear significantly, disappointedfor sure.Woman Frustrated

I approach it a little differently.  I know I use a limited number of online retailers, besides QVC.  Their return policies are as follows:

Macys = free returns, except food, gourmet gifts, lamps, wall art, mirrors, furniture, mattresses & area rugs.

Nordstrom = free returns

Chicos = $7 handling fee using their shipping label provided.

Soft Surroundings = $6.95 handling fee using their shipping label provided.

Best Buy = You pay shipping based on your chosen method of mailing back the return.

6pm = You pay shipping based on your chosen method of mailing back the return.

Save-on-Crafts = You pay shipping based on your chosen method of mailing back the return.

HSN = $7.95 or $9.95, depending on weight of item

Therefore, of my typical online sources, 2 out of 9 (including QVC)  have free returns.  Interestingly, I make the least amount of purchases from those two free returns online retailers.

So, I cannot make the statement, "most retailers" offer free returns, when that would not apply to my shopping habits at all.

I understand QVC's return policy, and it's on par with the other retailers I use.  For me, there's really no issue.

@Stormygirl too funny! Smiley Very Happy

I just try to put it in perspective. On it's own, I don't like the $6.95 return fee QVC charges -- don't we all prefer FREE?  But, QVC is no diferent from the other places I like and feel comfortable shopping.  Therefore it's an even playing field and I've done my homework.
