I just received a D&C sweater cardigan that has buttons....but they left off the button holes! I just checked the video presentation and, yes, Carolyn buttons up the cardigan on air. (A452497). I actually really love it EXCEPT for the obvious defect. I am assuming that I will NOT be charged return shipping, right?...since I was sent a defective cardigan with missing button holes. Very disappointing! Has anybody else received items with crazy defects?

@Goldengate8361 I don't recall ever receiving a garment with ANY defect. They do any amazing job weeding any out. All you have to do is mark it defective and return it. Watch your refund to assure they don't charge s&h.

Of course you would not be charged the S&H for return if it's defective. Just mark it as such and use label and you won't be charged. Odd that there are no button holes. If you love it why not just get it replaced?

Re-check the garment. I remember Carolyn saying something about the button hole being hidden or not like a regular button hole.

Yes, I have, more than I want to think about.
Suede jackets from different designers that looked tie-dyed. Puckered seams. Hems that looked like the sewing machine went over the stitching several times. Clumped thread on sleeve hems.
Unfinished button holes. Plaids that don't match at the seams. Poor fabric quality. Fabrics that collect a lot of lint. Received used items that are sold as new. Perfume on clothing sold as new. A lot of inconsistent sizing that measures a smaller size indicating they were labeled wrong or manufacturers cut too many pieces of fabric at one time to lower cost.
However, I have had equally as many issues with decor...defects, damage, just very sloppy manufacturing.
Just mark your sweater defective and you will receive a full refund including shipping both ways.

That's a beautiful sweater. I like a thin flat knit. I've had buttonholes that have been tight and I've snipped open a little more, but no buttonholes...how bizarre.
Hope you can exchange it for your size and color.
