I honestly do not believe a CS individual would "hang up" on a customer unless the caller was possibly making it impossible to communicate.  I know some places of employment give permission to terminate calls when a customer uses foul language, etc.

I expect them to deliver what was advertised. 

 

If you buy a car that is advertised as being red in color and it's blue on delivery I would think if it was an important feature to you the company should provide an adequate replacement.  Really not that difficult of a concept... Or are u just a company shill account?

The exact quote was " we are working from home and can't give you a supervisor" then disconnected

@Superdad39  seems Apple already confirmed that this particular model does not come with the Touch ID.  Somebody messed up when inputting the info.  It happens.  Just return your purchase for a full refund and buy the one that you need.

So wait for several days for the shipping partner to return it to the warehouse.... Then another 5 -7 days for the charge to be reversed and refunded back into our bank.... 

 

 

We don't have additional funds to purchase an adequate replacement from anywhere else while our money is tied up in a refund hold status..... College classes started yesterday and assignments need to be completed by Monday the 10th or they will drop classes as a no show.... Why the drama? Because the problems this has caused and the hardships our family will experience as the fallout from this.

I just did a quick search of the touchbar since I have no idea what it is, says apple removed it in 2021 because customers did not like it and wanted the full keyboard back. That is probably how the mistake was made, maybe since it is so critical he have the laptop now just make the one you got work?
