Backorders

I had an item I ordered the other day and put on check and I usually change over to my credit card very quickly . I went to change over this item and it stated "processing "and then almost immediately went into" Backorder. The item is sold out I went to check. Are Backorders ever really filled or more like waitlist now? I haven't had a waitlist item shipped in a long time now. I know years ago Backorders almost always shipped within 10 days I had it happen a few times . What luck do youmhavebwith Backorder items ?

I don't recall having a "backorder" but I have had quite a few waitlist. I actually received a waitlist order today from 02/12/22.

Before I replied to you I checked my order status and I currently have three pended waitlist items.

They really don't bother me in fact sometimes I cancel since it gives me more time to consider my purchase.

I have three recent orders that have gone to "backorder". One of them (a Philosophy A/D) I simply canceled after a while and the other two (clothing) I've left alone.

I don't expect to get either of them, but will let QVC cancel in its own good time.

@Spacrazy @I can understand that since I sometimes do a check to give me a second to decide if I want the item or if is it an impulse buy.

@Venezia I don't really feel I'm going to get this item , QVC over sold they item most likely and with the supply chain being what it is the vendor probably won't send more. I guess I'll leave it and see what happens. Do t hold out much hope though.
