I have purchased from you for years. Something new is happening now and I wish it would stop. When an item says available then in the past I would recieve it now I can get BACKORDER and no guarantee you will get more in. You used to say waitlist to mean this. Now you get me excited and spend my budget on an item passing up other great deals. To be massively disappointed. Please fix this. If you say it’s available then make sure you have enough. You are loosing sales because I passed on an alternate item and you shatter the fun and make me disappointed. Thank you

@Longtimelover - Welcome to the forums! There is a difference between an item on backorder and a waitlist item:

 

• If the status of your item is "backorder," that means QVC has inventory
  that is in stock but not yet processed and ready to be shipped, or it has
  inventory on the way. There is a good chance you will receive backordered
  items. It is still frustrating to wait, but sometimes there are glitches in the
  sales process due to inventory handling, supply chains, manpower or other
  variables. For what it's worth, over the years I've received every item I've
  purchased that has been in a backorder status.

• If the status of your item is "waitlist," that means QVC hopes it can get
  more inventory but is not certain that will happen. It may have a relationship
  with the vendor that will facilitate a new product order in a (somewhat) short
  amount of time, or it may know of another source for getting the product, or
  some other factor is leading it to think more inventory could be possible. I've
  had good luck overall with waitlist orders, but I definitely haven't received all
  the items I've requested on waitlist.

This is nothing new. It has been going on for a while now. I stopped buying when I had to call to ask for my refund?

If you find a deal some place else I would buy it if you know you will receive it?

Three times in a row my auto delivery for philosophy is delayed and never sent. Same with my Tatcha auto delivery- second order hasn't come yet. I look on the beauty sites and they have these products in stock. The hosts encourage auto delivery so we will never run out. This is not happening. I am very frustrated.

It can be frustrating....you are lucky if this has never happened to you before.

 

It has happened many times to me, but I have always rec'd my order when it has gone to backorder.

 

Just be patient.  Hopefully, it will come.

 

 

Not receiving future AD deliveries is a whole different situation @Penn state fan 

 

There is no guarantee we will receive all our future AD orders...I also have had that happen.

I had a backorder autoship Elemis TSV for weeks.  They canceled it.  Very dissappointing. That is the reason we do autoship so we can get our items.

@Penn state fan - I hadn't seen this thread, when I just started a new one about my recent Philosophy TSV that's gone to backorder.

 

And my Philosophy AG dry shampoo A/D that's been cancelled (no notice).

 

Seems to be happening a lot more often, especially with this brand.

 

In the past, I've had some backorders that just got cancelled.  No explanation.  Maybe they're trying to save us money?  Woman Frustrated
