Doesn't matter what you do.
I included the filled out return slip with reason ( damaged clothing, BIG grease stains on front),and asked for an exchange of same. And QVC did not exchange it. The item is still online and available. I got a message, finally, that they cancelled the order and "refunded" it. Well , AFTER they deducted to and from shipping.
Ok, I feel when something comes with a big grease stain on the front, that should not be up to the customer to pay , that was company error. This was not a tiny spot. There were SEVERAL of them!
I got less than 1/4 of the money I had paid as credit.So they got out of paying replacement shipping by just cancelling it completely.
Sorry Q, as much as I liked the item. I'm done buying any more from you. There are other options. Lots of them.

@gimmeabeach. If you sent it back for exchange, you shouldn't have been charged return shipping. Contact the social team for a refund, including the order #.

Also if it was stained, the item was damaged and you should be not be charged shipping in that instance either.
I've never done an exchange, but from what others have said, you're better off if you call customer service before you send your item off and let them know you want to exchange so they can take care of it for you. If you just mark it on your return slip, it usually gets marked as a return.
Call customer service or contact the social team as @Kachina624 suggested.

@gimmeabeach This has happened to me as well. I called CS and they explained it was protocol to cancel and reorder. New to me! They did take off the shipping for me, and we went through the reorder process. Everything turned out all right in the end. Yes, call customer service.

Sorry you had a problem with your order and as others mentioned, contact CS. I recently posted about recieving the wrong food order and I called CS and it was handled to my satisfaction and they are shipping the correct order, no shipping fees.
