I received around 5-6 things during 2018 that had food, grease spots, other stains, lots of dog or cat hair on them.
Returned...marking them defective. Received full credit along with shipping.
The point here is...we know QVC sells returns, but their returns department is careless for not checking them thoroughly. No retailer should be selling clothing priced as new when it has been worn, and shouldn't be sold at all with spots, pet hair, perfume, and other odors.
You must complain. If customers don't, the problem won't be corrected.
