I had Jimmy the Baker Crumb Cakes on A/D.

I got the first shipment months ago and the second was due to be shipped today.  I just looked to see it's gone to Backorder!

This is a food item that's supposed to be shipped fresh.  How can it go to backorder?  Did they take too many orders again?  More than they can fulfill?

Honestly, I've had it.  I canceled this shipment and the remaining ones.  I don't need the hassle.

Someone at QVC needs to get their act together.

@TheMemphisVette - I haven't had good luck with my things going to backorder then eventually shipping.  But I want to be able to plan when these things are arriving, especially food.

I guess I'm just tired of the unreliability lately with QVC.

i understand.  it's not convenient for you.

i am in a different situation.   i have no porch pirates.  the food ships ups which is excellent service for me.   my driver leaves it at my kitchen door.  

i am pleased with Q's food guarantee.    i have had to use it a couple times over the years.   Q immediately refunded or reshipped.

Backordered. Wonder if that's their new way of saying yet another Auto Delivery food order will eventually be cancelled.

@Venezia.  I just got a message that my peach crumb cake are backorder.  Trouble is, I don't like peach and my AD was for lemon.

I don't think Jimmy has his act together.  In May my AD shipped about 6 days late.  Finally arrived Next Day Air but was very fresh.

@Kachina624 - If it's the same item as mine (M133439), only the first shipment gave a choice of lemon.  (My A/D started in February.)

The following 3 shipments were 6 cinnamon with 6 peach (summer), 6 pumpkin (fall) and 6 gingerbread (winter).

I actually emailed the Social Team to ask last week because Jimmy said on a recent show with David that it was "whatever the customer wants".  I didn't think that sounded right and I couldn't find anywhere to choose a selection.

I would've preferred lemon and peach, but would've been okay with cinnamon and peach for this shipment.

I'm just not okay with getting the email that my order is ready to ship, then finding it's gone to backorder.
