Edit: Thank you everyone. I should have contacted qvcsocialteam from the get go! The issue has been resolved.
This past Monday night, when it was just after midnight Eastern time, I placed an order. The Qcard deal for Tuesday was free shipping on orders over $75. The QVC online ordering system mistakenly deducted the whole price. I wanted the items and didn't want them to sell out, so I didn't cancel. I assumed the system would fix the problem, and I would be charged appropriately before anything was shipped.
Last night, I noticed that one order had been cancelled and flagged to contact CS. When I did, I was told my account had been closed, and she gave me a number to call. The person on that line said I needed to talk to the Fraud department and transferred me. That line rang to a mail box. I left my info, but did not receive a call back.
After waiting a few hours, I tried to chat with CS to see if anything else could be done. The rep told me bluntly that my account is cancelled and the decision won't be reconsidered.
How can that be??? The error was not my fault. I would gladly pay for the items. I gave my card number at the time of purchase. I spend thousands of dollars a year at QVC.
Can anyone help?

My guess is that it has nothing to do with this order!
Someone could have used the account for somehthing else that you didn't know about!
Maybe customer service can explain it to you!

@KShreeve, first edit your post by using the three gray dots in the upper right corner. You need, per board guildlines, to eliminate your email address or your entire post will be deleted.
Second, the problem may be opening a new card using a different email address. Your account was possibly flagged as fraudulent.
Third, contact the mods by email using address of
QVCSocialTeam@QVC.com to assist you.

Why contact the Fraud department? You didn't do anything wrong. Tubby Tommy trying to blame you for something?

Tubby Tommy?
What are you talking about?
The OP may have had some fraud committed with her credit card that she isn't aware of yet and QVC "caught" something she needs to know about.

@KShreeve I am sorry you have to endure this as I went through similar problems and still have issues. Someone stole two major credit card numbers and WHAM my Q account was closed for days. It also applied to any Synchrony accounts with other retailers ALL orders canceled out including waitlist etc. No transfer option to new CC. QVC CS said working with Fraud Dept.with my major CC cards.
Call CS and your account can eventually be reopened but it may be a few days especially over a weekend or Holiday. Then later my identity was questioned and in order to obtain a new Q Card I had to prove MY identity. Facial Video, Drivers Licence front and back. I told them forget it as I wasn't the criminal. No, it isn't your fault.
I think fraud is so rampant that accounts close immediately but the victim is left wondering what happened? Any other on line companies not connected with Synchrony accept a new valid CC with out question. All my Synchrony Store CCs were cancelled like Pennys, Talbots, HSN, SHOPHQ. I refuse to jump through hoops for a Synchrony CC. I have had pristine credit. I use a major CC now with them. Had to reopen Q and HSN accounts to even order anything.
I still feel slighted the way I was treated and spoken to after all the years shopping and Q card use. I hope in a small way my experience helps. No, you are not the one committing Fraud. I also was not treated like a good customer who did NOTHING wrong.
