I don't often use the app but I have it downloaded onto my tablet ready to go for this precise discount situation.  For daily routine use I go to QVC.COM.

@clove4, sometimes I think people look for a reason to slam QVC. I'm appreciative anytime a discount is offered, whether I make use of it or not.

Absolutely.

@Etoile308. @rockygems123.  I wish I had a dollar for every person who came here to rant and swore she'd never shop again, only to ireturn in a short time with a new rant.

I'm 80 and have tried to keep up with the new technology.  Ordering from an app is not difficult...about the same as ordering from the computer.  When I was a young girl my grandmother had an old wringer washer, but I wouldn't want to use it now.  The world changes and living a long life allows us to see it.  Sometimes it's annoying, but I wouldn't want to go back.

@ibook

I'm 77 and I feel exactly as you do.  Sometimes I struggle to figure out all of the new technology, but I stick with it.  Because you either keep up or you get left behind.

But, but, but...only a Q card gets the really good rate.  Pure marketing, just ignore if you wish.

@Still Raining  There's only a 5% difference.

There's always a lot to be thankful for if you take time to look for it.
For example, I am sitting here thinking how nice it is that wrinkles don't hurt.

I totally agree.  Apps have taken over the world.  Everythhing now needs one.  I'm not sure what the benefits are.

@Winkk

Well, today the benefit is 25% off a single item ordered on the APP w/ a Q card. (20% for other CC)

These discounts are often, large and were enough to convince me to get the App.

@clove4

Absolutely NOT discrimination...LOL

@RespectLife .. I was referring to apps in general, not just the QVC app.

Ditto!

I don't use Apps for shopping either - I prefer to log onto a website (using my laptop) Smiley Wink

I don't consider the technology to be discrimination, however, I'm just glad there are other options. Smiley Happy

I would like to know why the Q pushes the app so much.  What is the benefit to them?  I'd like to understand the push.  While I rather not use the app, or any app, I will to get the savings then I'm right back to ordering via the website.

I do not have a problem with technology. However, I do not do any financial transactions on my phone. None. Zip.

That QVC wants to push everyone to its app is silly. They still "allow" orders by phone and online. And in 2026 everyone assumes that it would have an app, without the push. So, why antagonize its core customers with app-only discounts.

I have been a customer for more than 20 years. If QVC keeps pushing, I'll be leaving.
