Very unfair that folks who have APPS can use a discount code and those of us who dont are out of luck.  Many seniors have flip-phones and dont have APPS.    Just another reason to shop somewhere else that dont discriminate !

I'm in my 70's and I don't like apps.  I don't feel like because a discount is offered, it's discrimination.  Apps are a choice just like having a flip phone or a smart phone.

I don't like that to get on a plane I'm expected to have my boarding pass on my phone, but it's reality.  Yes, you can still get a hard copy, but that's a pain as well.

I think life has become more complicated  with all the new tech, just my opinion.   You either join in and learn, or you get left behind.

I totally agree.  Apps have taken over the world.  Everythhing now needs one.  I'm not sure what the benefits are.

i have tons of apps on my phone and on my tablet.

discounts, freebies, coupon codes, sneak peeks, loyalty points, the ability to easily order to go, payments, and more. i have embraced them and use them daily.

i often find that they make life a little easier.

@Winkk

Well, today the benefit is 25% off a single item ordered on the APP w/ a Q card. (20% for other CC)

These discounts are often, large and were enough to convince me to get the App.

Absolutely NOT discrimination...LOL

I print out my boarding pass at home.  Can always get one at the airport.  The day that a phone is required to get on an airplane is the day I stop flying!

And agree, all this technology and choices just makes life more complicated for this 76 year old.  I'm definitely being left behind and I'm OK with that.

But, but, but...only a Q card gets the really good rate.  Pure marketing, just ignore if you wish.

You chose to buy a basic phone, that can't download apps. How is that discrimination?

I don't think it's discrimination at all.  It's like when they offer perks if you use their credit card. No different then other places I shop at and have a credit card with.

@clove4.  You must have access to the internet or you wouldn't be posting here, therefore, you shouldn't have any trouble downloading the app.  If you don't know how, get someone to help you. It literally just takes a couple minutes and is very simple.
