He has been checked by the vet, and other than being old, some high cholesterol (we are working on that) arthritis, and some disc problems with his hind legs and back, he is fairly healthy.
He wants to LICK everything. The floor, his bed (he will lay down sometimes and spend 15 mins. or so just licking his bed), the carpet, someone's foot if you let him, etc.
I have told the vet and the vet didn't think it was anything to be concerned about but it is one behavior that I wish he could stop. I am just starting to think it is some kind of doggie OCD, is this possible for dogs to have a form of OCD like some humans have? Have you ever had a dog that does this?? TIA for all responses.
