I left dishes in the sink, it was not my job to clean it, no where in the lease did she state apt must be left spotless clean.

We left the apt clean, my hubby cleared the fridge and we dumped the trash and recycling

Since she refuses to send me the photos I suspect she is being a spiteful bieatch

I would have taken photos and submitted them to a review site because I don't think you will get a refund. Maybe a complaint should be forwarded to the Chamber of Commerce or BBB.

I have left a bad review twice on the site we rented from and it was not published and I have contacted them twice and have gotten no response.

This is not the first time we have dealt with a rental and in 7 years we have never had an issue like this

I changed my response because I read you did get photos beforehand. Bypass the site and file a complaint with those agencies.

I would be careful about what you write here. The way your OP is worded it's easy to make a direct connection to that property. You don't want to start with accusations about the owner. It may come back to bite you in the rear.

If you're not worried that's fine but personally I would refrain from doing it. Online defamation suits are real and it isn't free to defend ones self from a lawsuit.

We did. LOL All the beachfront properties in the area we rented are high priced. The other couple and us split the cost. So you figure about $2250 for 7 nights on the beach was a pretty good deal.

that's an awesome deal for peace of mind. when i go on vacation, i want just that, a vacation.
