Thank goodness the packages weren't stolen. That's not the way to deliver a package. I guess it all depends on what kind of driver you get, if they are lazy or want to do things the right way.It shouldn't be that way.

UPS getting unreliable.  Shipped a package Monday with extra insurance...was due to arrive next day.  It did not.  Wednesday online information had Wednesday as the next scheduled del. Date.  It was on the truck but when the truck arrived at 5:30 that package was not delivered.  I called UPS and after a 30 minute wait of unpleasant music a rep said another truck had the package and was going to be delivered by 9 pm.  It was delivered at 9:20 but UPS email stated it was delivered at10:00 AM!  They are already overwhelmed with packages...just wait in another two weeks it will be madness and even with tracking and added insurance there is misinformation.

I'm sure UPS is using many temporary employees right now.

I can always tell when my regular guy is off, I'll find a package almost anywhere on my property.

It's a tough time of year for them.   No need to complain, you got your package.

My UPS guy is great!  The only problem I've ever encuntered with UPS is when my deliveries weren't arriving until 7:30-8:00PM.  But thats not a reflection of the driver....they were doubling his truckload for awhile.  But he, as the driver, is awesome.  I live in a townhouse community.  He delivers right to my door, will put things between the storm door and the door when possible.  And if something heavy arrives, and I see him arriving, he'll bring the item(s) right into my house for me.

We are expecting a delivery of a curved tv from Costco. DH suggested that I put a sign on the door saying that “UPS you are on camera”.

In the past when we have had large, heavy things delivered they were literally thrown onto the porch. Broken, box all torn apart.

We we don’t want that happening with this item.

UPS is leaving packages by my apartment mailboxes where anybody walking into building  can steal them

I live in a building with 105 apartments.

I am sure UPS is responsible for this by putting tremendous time pressure on drivers and helpers.

Have you considered contacting UPS to request they hold your package (at the nearest UPS location) for you to pick up? That way, you won't have to worry that someone will steal your package. Big ticket items, such as TV are a target for sure. If your package hasn't already been sent out, you can sign up for this service online.

I believe UPS is on strike which would explain the subpar service.
