Doubtful that 2021 will be any better. Could even be worse.

@RetRN Good point. I worry too as have heard Dr.'s warn it could get much worse after the X-Mas holiday with people travelling  and meeting up for big gatherings. There are people  right here in  my small town who still totally ignore advice to not gather in big groups. They do it anyway, and then many many people must quarantine.

2020 wasn't one of my best years, but I have a lot to be thankful for.  I have received many blessings, but I don't want a repeat this year in 2021.

Prayers for a better year ahead.

I'm choosing to be optimistic about 2021.  And hopefully ecstatic when 2022 comes along.

Saw that on a t short the other day. Am sure 2020 gets the same review from us all...a friend had two grand babies born in 2020...I hope when they have to write their date of birth in the future it doesn’t get comments about what a year this has been...at least my friend has had two joyous blessings in 2020...more than most of us can say.

A reminder:

Besides the pandemic, 2020 was also notable for:

* the warmest January in history

* the Australian bushfire crisis

* the embracing of racial justice

* the record-setting U.S. wildfires

* the vote for unity and healing

Like every year, a mixture of both bad and good.

We can only hope and pray that the world is in better shape in 2021.

Don't forget the record hurricane season.  Used up the alphabet and went well into the Greek alphabet for names.   Louisiana was in the "cone of uncertainty" 8 times, and 5 of those storms made landfall in the state.  By November I totally had hurricane fatigue.

.... I don't have a lot of hope for 2021 either.
