two emails today about a security breach

I got emails today from both HSN and Krogers saying that someone got access to their customer's names and email addresses. they said that no account or financial information was breached, but this is pretty alarming. it seems to me that these companies would have better security in place.

a good reminder that there are always snakes out there trying to snag our information.

did anyone else get these emails?
