trusted statistical websites

If you were tryng to look up average income for a city, what website would you use? I just googled one, the first three hits were about $10,000 apart.

thank you.

Re: trusted statistical websites

@happycat  The town or city's own website would be one.  State's official website might have some information.

Chamber of Commerce for an area might have information.

The best one might be the U.S. Census Bureau.

I'd just google the City/Town's own website.  I would think they would have their own most up to date information.

Re: trusted statistical websites

Depending on why you are interested, you should understand how they define average and city.  Might not be what you think.
